Eating at Chris’ has pretty much become a weekly outing for my wife and I. She loves the fresh, homemade soups and I almost always am sure to get one of their delicious pancakes. The owners and staff are always friendly and happy to see us and the food always come out quickly and in very generous portions. What more could you ask for in a diner?? I love it and highly recommend it!

My favorite thing about Chris’ diner is their staff. It is a family owned and operated restaurant, and they make you feel like a part of their family as soon as you walk in the door. They remember how you take your coffee, foods you do and don’t like, and can make suggestions based on what they know you like.

No matter what I’m in the mood for, there is something delicious on the menu that will leave me satisfied and full. Everything I’ve eaten there is delicious, but my top picks are their Spinach & Feta Omelette, Blueberry Pancakes, and Lentil Soup.

I love going to Chris’ diner. Their staff is warm, welcoming, and treats you like family. What’s even better is that when you go often enough, they remember you by name and what you order! You can’t find service like that anywhere else.

Their food is amazing, and you never leave hungry. What’s even better is their prices, you get a big meal for a few bucks! If you’ve never been here, I suggest you go, you won’t be disappointed.

Where should I begin? I love EVERYTHING- the staff (friendly), the food (delicious), the price (reasonable), the homey atmosphere; I love it all! Chris’ diner is a good, old-fashioned restaurant. It is so good, in fact, our best friends from out of town insist on eating there whenever they visit. My husband (a pancake connoisseur) says the pancakes are the best he has ever eaten. So what are you waiting for? Eat at Chris’ diner NOW!

With my schedule I usually end up eating out 4-5 times a week and finding good restaurants with decent prices is getting harder and harder. The staff is excellent, the food is amazing and the prices have seemed to stay the same when inflation has taken over just about everything else. I would recommend Chris’ to anyone looking to get full without breaking the bank!

As a student at BU, I miraculously found Chris’ Diner in the Summer before I even began as a student. There is nowhere better in Binghamton which can match the great food, prices, staff and atmosphere. If you’re a diner kind of person Chris’ is the diner for you.

We miss Chris and his family, going there for breakfast and enjoying the buzz of conversation was like coming home for the holidays! You can guarantee to find many people you know there and the food is fantastic. We moved to Texas last May and there is no diner like Chris’ anywhere! Sure we have places like the. House of Pies and Diner 59 but nothing can beat sitting at the counter at Chris’ and watching the Mystro at work on the flat top! It’s like getting diner and a show all in one!

Hearing Chris’ yelling out those famous words like “Wanna take over” or “you want more! ” Let you know your in the right place for food and you will never leave hungry! So go and say Hi ! To Chris for me and Enjoy!

Had a GYRO this afternoon- thought it was going to be the usual- fake meat, no tzatziki sauce, and frozen onions and no tomatoes with wilted lettuce.
Talk about a PLEASANT SURPRISE! This gyro was like eating in a relative’s greek grandma’s kitchen!!!
Even the pita was grilled! The tzatziki sauce was to die for, and the meat was REAL LAMB- PERFECTLY grilled with REAL onions, tomatoes, and lettuce.
You know when you have a PERFECT GYRO when you take your first, second, and third bites, and all the good stuff falls into the wrapper so you have to use a fork to get every bite!
THANKS to Chris’s Diner for NOT missing the city for the authentic GYROS!

My fiancee and I were at Chris’s Diner this morning for a late breakfast. We sat at the counter, and watching the grill chef was quite an amazing experience. Never have I seen someone take five orders at a time barked out form the waitresses, remember them perfectly along with the seven more he already has on the grill, drop the fries, tend the gravy, communicate with the cold prep staff in the back, and work all those orders on the grill with acrobatic skill and a smile. Loved seeing how he worked the 15 lbs of hashbrowns on the back of the grill, cracked six eggs in 30 seconds, tended three or four omelets at a time plus sausage, pancakes, and french toast, not to mention putting in the occasional lunch order since we were there in the overlap between breakfast and lunch, and nailing everyone’s order. Wow! The food was delish and and the price way below what was expected. Watching the chef do his thing…priceless!

I love this place! You ALWAYS get a full stomach and have extra to take home! No other place I have ever been too in the 62 years I have been dining out has even come close to the amount of food you get their. And the prices are great as well. The staff is amazing! A special shout out to the cooks, GREAT job! It is a pleasure to tip my bill when I go their. May GOD bless your business for years to come.

I am a native of the Binghamton area but have lived in the deep south for the past 20 years. We visited recently and stopped at Chris’ for breakfast and was amazed at how good it was and how friendly everyone was. I had not been able to find the large sausage links anywhere in the south and was really pleased to get them for breakfast. I used to get sausage on a grilled hard roll from the old Herb’s Diner on Water Street and O’Neil’s Coffee Shop on Robinson Street next to Cortese Restaurant. I wish I could find a place to buy those sausage links by the case. On another note, the home fries are top notch and the hash is outstanding.
